Laura Brandt — Dr. Laura Brandt's lab is focused on developing better ways to assess opioid withdrawal, a critical issue in treating opioid use disorder. The lab aims to create a new clinical tool that can reliably measure withdrawal symptoms by incorporating input from individuals with personal experiences of opioid use. This work is vital for improving treatment practices and ensuring that new medications for opioid withdrawal are evaluated correctly by the FDA.
