Research Focus
Dr. Jeannette R. Mahoney's lab focuses on understanding how sensory and motor functions may indicate early signs of Alzheimer's disease. They study how the brain integrates information from different senses, which might serve as early markers for preclinical Alzheimer's. Through their research, they aim to improve our understanding of Alzheimer's pathology and develop interventions that could help older adults maintain their mobility and independence.
