Research Aims
3AIM 01Investigate how tumor-associated plasmacytoid dendritic cells (TApDC) reprogram the tumor immune microenvironment in liver cancer models with and without HIV.
AIM 02Define the role of TApDC in modulating anti-tumor specific T cells and enhancing response to immunotherapy.
AIM 03Examine the interactions between TApDC and immune checkpoint inhibitors to evaluate their effects on treatment outcomes and side effects.
